Donation to ‘Down Syndrome’ children (2016)

‘Sethma Seth Lanka’ joined hands with ‘Kosala Dullawa Foundation’ in organizing a Talent Show for

children with ‘Down Syndrome’. The event took place on Saturday the 26th March 2016 at ‘Nava Rangahala’ of

‘Royal College’ – Colombo. Seventy (70) children belonging to various age groups showcased their talents

during the show. ‘HI’ contributed with Ten (10) Humanitarians on the day to support the workload that

demanded along with gift packs for all Seventy children that were present. Each Gift Pack was worth Rs. 2,500.

Gift Packs included Vitamins, Milk Powder, Cereals, Sweets, and Malted Milk. Gift Packs were received by

parents or guardians of the children that were present. The event saw the attendance of over 450 people which

included children, parents/guardians, organizers, invitees, audience, and well-wishers.

Total Cost of the Donation – Rs. 2,500 x 70 = Rs. 175,000
